WITCH'S BROOM. These earrings are meant to be symbols of empowerment. Using the motif of a witch's broom, these earrings are meant to serve as a reminder to celebrate your magic & be proud of who you are.

The Story Behind the Design:

These earrings actually use the original sun beam motif from our Mini ARAW Hoops, but eventually transformed into a completely different motif for these earrings. I had been playing around with design ideas and added the sun beam motif to a thin bar stud. When a family member saw my prototype, they told me it resembled a walis (broom in Tagalog). I immediately thought of it as a witch's broom - and ta-da! The witch's broom idea was solidified. I especially loved the association with witches as symbol of empowerment. I love the trend of reclaiming of the word "witch". Women throughout history have been branded as witches for merely being outspoken or going against the grain of how women are "supposed" to act. Naturally, the Witch's Broom Earrings had to make it into my Celestial Collection. What's more magical than a witch?
